Alcohol Enforcement Team (AET)
The Alcohol Enforcement Team engages community residents, businesses, and others to deny alcohol access to youth who are less than 21 years of age by conducting alcohol compliance checks, public safety checkpoints, underage party patrols/dispersals, Fake ID checks in alcohol establishments and shoulder Taps. The team is comprised of the 9th Judicial Circuit law enforcement partners.
Drug Free Communities (DFC)
The Drug-Free Communities Support Program engages communities to prevent and reduce substance use among youth. The program incorporates the coalition (BCPB) and its subcommittees in its goal to reduce access and enhance barriers to underage alcohol and tobacco.
Partnerships for Success (PFS)
The goal of the PFS grant is to prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse and its related problems. The project addresses underage alcohol use among youth ages 9-20, opioid use/misuse among youth and adults and the ease of access of both substance within the Berkeley County community. A specific focus is on community-driven efforts to promote substance use prevention services.
State Opioid Response (SOR)
The purpose of this grant is to support implementation of evidence-based environmental and educational program in an effort to prevent opioid and stimulant misuse.
